 | | | | Bought Child of Eden, PS3 version. I put it in and it started playing the main theme. My brain started to hum along with it.
"You! Brain! How do you already know the song!?" "Er... I... don't actually know..."
Turns out the main theme wasn't made for the game. It was used in No More Heroes in 2008. When you buy stuff from the video store, it's playing in the background.
Also, the lead singer of the group is a fictional character; the character from Child of Eden. Which makes things confusing.
Anyways, awesome game. Very much like Rez, but not. You have to release shots in time to the music to get the best score, and there's another weapon for shooting down enemy bullets and purple enemies. Introduces some slight puzzle mechanics that way, which is cool. Music style is different from Rez, too. And no direct-assault mode! I wanted to play all levels with no menu breaks. But it started at about 30-something bucks for PS3, so it's super-cheap and worth getting. | | | | |
